Run by two modern foreign language teachers in Yorkshire, Oh La Vache is a brand new start-up business with ambition. They create colourful, bold language wall art, stationery and clothing with a focus on making languages less scary and more grammatically correct.

As with many small businesses, social media provided a great starting point for selling to friends and family. However when they realised that there was the potential for a wider market, they got in touch with me to build them an e-commerce solution.

This is a two phase project with phase one already fully complete and live. This was to create a brochure site with a simple link to a small number of products using Stripe. Phase two is the creation of the shop with a full catalogue of over 100 products and will also include pages specifically for wholesale and other B2B customers.

The brochure site has a bespoke navigation menu with custom CSS coding for the different coloured menu options and a full height page hero for added impact. The footer offers the business a great lead generation feature by integrating a newsletter subscription form linked to their Mailchimp account. This will allow them to capture potential customers whilst phase 2 is in progress.
